The ELECOMP Capstone Design Program promotes a dynamic collaboration between senior-level engineering students and industry sponsors to design, build, program, and test solutions to real-world problems. Faculty members are available to consult on the projects; bringing to bear their own experience in key engineering disciplines.

Michael Baden, M.D., the host of HBO’s “Autopsy” and author of more than 80 articles and books, headlines the Spring 2019 University of Rhode Island Forensic Science Partnership Seminar Series, which continues Feb. 1 and concludes April 26 with Dr. Baden’s lecture.

2019 A. Robert Rainville Leadership Awards

For 31 years, the Office of Student InvolvementThe Center for Student Leadership Development and the Dean of Students Officehold an annual celebration to honor students who are successful in various leadership roles while maintaining a good academic record. The award is named in memory of A. Robert Rainville ’64, students’ friend and mentor, Vice President for Student Affairs 1980-86.
